Hello Samsung Camera friends,
Today I’m back with 5 stunning images taken with the NX1000 for you. How many of you like to take great sunset photos or low-light photography? If you have done it before, how was it? Did you come up with pictures that you imagined before you take the shot? I assume that many of you have experienced taking pictures at night or in low-light conditions are difficult.
Sunsets and taking pictures in low-light conditions are an inspirational subject for any photographer. However, I want to say you don’t need to get a professional training in order to take great sunset photos, such photos are surprisingly easy to take.

Choose your location: The effect may last for only a few minutes, especially for the sunset shots. Which means you must choose your locations before you capture the sunset and get ready to take it when it is ready. Sunsets only take half an hour so you want to these elements before it starts or you will miss the shots.

Use your tripod: Be prepared with your tripod. You may be shooting the exposures of half a second or more to bring out the best in your sunset photograph.

Use manual Mode: Auto White balance mode loses some of the warm golden tones of a sunset. Please keep in mind that you take your camera out of Auto White balance mode before you take the shots.

Set the ISO with the maximum setting. The NX System’s imaging sensor offers a wide ISO sensitivity range of up to 12,800 at normal settings. Even indoors or at night, you can create images with minimal noise, rich tonal gradations and faithful colors—without a flash. You’ll also capture clearer, crisper images of fast-moving objects.

Also you turn on your Noise Reduction feature and use your fast shutter speed. Shutter speed can make the difference between capturing an iconic image and missing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The NX1000’s 1/4000 shutter speed gives you the flexibility to shoot like the pros—at varying speeds and light exposures. The NX1000’s shutter even automatically adjusts itself as it senses environmental factors such as temperature and camera direction. And the electronically controlled focal-plane shutter reduces exposure errors.
Please look around you all the time and keep shooting until you get vivid shots! If you want to see more pictures taken with the NX1000, please visit our Flickr : http://www.flickr.com/photos/samsungcamera/

I have been always amazed how Samsung camera has been so easy to use and yet has all the features of a dslr without too much manual operation on te settings. A few seconds, minutes fidgetiing with the settings of a dslr makes you lose the moment!! The weight factor is another thing, and the space it occupies in my luggage when I travel.
