Samsung SMART Camera WB1100F

LAS VEGAS, US – January 07, 2014 – Samsung is proud to introduce an impressive new addition to its WB family of handheld zoom cameras, the WB1100F. The WB1100F brings users up close and personal with the subject of their compositions with its impressive 35x Optical zoom capabilities coupled with the device’s 25mm wide angle lens. The new camera allows owners to capture both depth and breadth in stunning clarity and detail.

Building on the device’s impressive zoom capabilities, Samsung has developed and fitted the WB1100F with a Speed Control Key that allows users to move through the various levels of zoom with speed and ease. This ensures that fleeting moments are captured in deep zoom detail and not missed while focusing in on the action. The Speed Control Key can be used to activate both the zoom capability and Panorama mode which creates beautiful panoramic images in crisp and clear detail.

Tag & Go : Simply Tap to Share Memories

Advanced NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity brings additional functionality to the WB1100F. The brand new ‘Tag & Go’ feature allows the camera to connect to smartphones by simply tapping the two devices together. No manual set up is required, allowing users access to a host of features, making it easier to share photographic creations with friends and family, instantly.

This technology allows the WB1100F camera and smartphones to work in tandem, enabling features such as Photo Beam, which instantly transfers images being viewed on the camera to the paired smartphone. AutoShare transfers images to smartphones automatically, as they are being taken, to avoid the worry of having to back up images. With MobileLink, users can select the exact images they wish to transfer to their smartphone to make organizing shots simple. Remote ViewFinder allows smartphones to take control of the WB1100F so that photographers have alternative ways on best framing their shot.

The Samsung WB1100F is designed for adventurous photographers who want to zoom into striking moments and share their creations with friends and family instantly. Its comfortable grip allows for use in every situation, and the device’s state-of-the-art design will appeal to the most design-conscious camera enthusiasts.

The WB1100F will be available in Black and Red.

You can visit our CES booth to experience this future technology firsthand, as Samsung’s product line will be displayed from January 7-10 at booth #12004 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

I agree with Vickie.. why no manual. I like the pictures that I take but I don’t know that I would recommend this camera to anyone. there are no instructions and in my area I can’t buy a replacement battery. I am wondering what else I will find. I was told by the seller that I would be able to take action shots but so far no one can figure out how. It will take action freeze shots but I wanted a camera that would take several pictures like a quick shot.
