The Best Impressive Photos of 2 Weeks #32

by

Nature often provides a view that can relax your mind and rid you of worry. Nothing is better at easing lives than an unfiltered natural scene. All the same, the days you need an escape the most are often the most hectic. As much as you would like to drop everything, it is sometimes best to settle for peaceful, scenic photos, small reminders of nature’s mystery, and relieve your mind through a vicarious tip into the wild. Just take in the tranquility of these three most impressive photos of the last two weeks, close your eyes, and imagine yourself there.

The first photo uses depth in way that offers a surprising contrast. The strong color of the red leaves and their composition offer a cheerful reminder that gloomy days need not be void of vivacity. It does a good job of showcasing nature’s intricate design, if only we pause long enough to absorb the details.

Our next photo is of a sunset and a ray of sunlight gliding over the surface of the sea. Sunset photos are typically calming, but this one, however calming, leaves a strong impression. Photographers recommend a whole host of techniques to avoid monotony in sunset photos. This one is a good example of giving the sunlight center stage. Maybe that is why so many people have praised its impressive beauty on the Samsung NX Facebook page. How about your own techniques?

The last photo again uses depth – this time depth of field – to create a brilliant point of focus. The white flower stands out, even against other subtler colors of the stem and background. The petals suggest a kind of perfection; the yellow almost a perfect flower unto itself. Look long enough, and you find yourself smiling. Call it “flower therapy”, nature’s way of soothing negativity. Put a flowerpot in your house – a small one will do – and soon enough a friendship will blossom, a part of nature with which you can genuinely share your emotions.

So, what do you think of the healing qualities of Samsung Camera and Samsung NX Facebook pages’ three most impressive picks?
